Care Instructions For Your Silk Shirts and Underwear

We would advise that all items made of silk are lovingly hand washed or dry cleaned only. Items may be hand-washed at a temperature no higher than 30⁰ ~ COLD water is best.

We recommend the following:

1. Silk should preferably be hand washed ideally in COLD water.  The kinder you are the longer it will last.
2. Always use mild detergent.
3. Never use bleach.
4. Silk does not like washing machines but if you have to use a hand wash cycle please use cold water and don't put anything else in with them ie no zippers, velcro, denim or heavy items.
5. Squeeze out excess water and hang immediately on a hanger.
6. Never machine dry silk or cashmere pieces.
7. If washing more than one item, make sure colours are alike (never wash dark and light colours together or hang different colors too close to each other).

If you look after your silk shirts, they should last forever!
