Terms of Sale
Last updated: [DATE]
These terms apply when you buy from pomlampson.com. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Shipping, Exchanges, Returns & Refunds and Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
Pom Lampson Limited is a company registered in England & Wales (company number 04666548). Our registered office is Hillside, Albion Street, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, OX7 5BH. You can reach us at help@pomlampson.com.
2. The contract
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We'll send you an order confirmation by email. The contract between us is formed when we send a separate email confirming your order has been dispatched. We may refuse an order, for example if the item is out of stock, if there's an obvious pricing error, or if we can't verify payment. If we do, we'll let you know and refund any money you've paid.
3. Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. We take payment when you place the order. If a price is obviously wrong, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel.
4. Delivery and risk
Delivery details and timings are set out on our Delivery & Returns page. Risk in the goods passes to you when they're delivered. Ownership passes to you when we've received payment in full.
5. Your right to cancel and returns
Your right to cancel a distance contract under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and how to exercise it, is set out on our Delivery & Returns page.
6. Faulty goods
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to everything we sell. Details of how to report a faulty item are on our Delivery & Returns page.
7. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to exclude. Subject to that, we're not liable for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable at the time you placed the order, or for losses that arise because you used the goods for a purpose they're not designed for.
8. Events outside our control
If we can't meet our obligations because of something outside our reasonable control (for example, courier strikes, supply chain disruption, severe weather), we'll let you know and the timing of our obligations will be extended. If the delay is significant, you can cancel and we'll refund any money you've paid for goods not yet delivered.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the site when you placed the order.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. If something goes wrong and we can't resolve it between us, you can bring a claim in the courts of England & Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
